When to Use Triple Antibiotic Eye Ointment for Dogs

Triple antibiotic eye ointment is most commonly used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis in dogs, which is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the membrane that lines the eyelid and the whites of the eyes. It can also be used to treat other types of eye infections, including those caused by viruses and fungi. It can also be used to treat corneal ulcers. In some cases, triple antibiotic eye ointment can help to reduce the pain and inflammation associated with these conditions.

How to Use Triple Antibiotic Eye Ointment for Dogs

When using triple antibiotic eye ointment for dogs, it is important to follow your veterinarian’s instructions carefully. In most cases, the ointment is applied directly to the eye one to four times per day, depending on the severity of the condition.
