The second story is about a family who had a difficult year and was in need of some good luck. On Christmas Eve, they decided to go out into the woods and find a special tree. As they searched, they heard a strange sound and found a talking reindeer who told them that if they could find a certain tree then they would have good luck all year long.
The third story is about a boy who had been very naughty all year long. On Christmas Eve, he was visited by three ghosts who showed him the consequences of his actions. After seeing the error of his ways, he vowed to be good from then on.
The brother was so impressed by his sister’s stories that he gave her the special present he promised. The sister was very happy and thanked her brother for the wonderful Christmas gift. This story has been shared for generations and has become a beloved part of the holiday season.
